Jonathan Purcell is a young Californian winegrower who came to settle in France. His love for wine began very early when his father introduced him to great Burgundy wines at the age of 15. Following this tasting, he finds his vocation: to make wine.
After spending some time in the vineyards in Australia and South Africa, in 2012, Jon came to study oenology in France in Beaune in the same year as Camille Lapierre, Alex Foillard and Yann Bertrand. After various experiences, he created “Vin Noé” a wine trading house in 2017. He began by buying Beaujolais gamay which he vinified without any input, then he took over a few vines for rent in Saint-Aubin. A promising young winegrower to follow!
