Direction Gordes, in the Luberon, to discover the Domaine Les Maoù by Aurélie and Vincent Garreta, through this Red Pet Nat made from Carignan and Aubun.
The bubbles are full of energy, dancing and vibrating. It’s a real effervescent fruit juice with flavors of blackcurrant, cherries, raspberries, blackberries and violets, enhanced by peppery notes, there’s a slight acidity which brings a little tension, it’s fresh. The bubbles are joyfull, it’s a friendly wine to open when you want, with whoever you want !

Les Maoù
“Maoù” is the sweet nickname between them. Vincent & Aurélie, settled in Gordes since 2014, on a little over ten hectares (Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon). They work the soil every other row. Do not put chemical stuff in the vines or in the wines. They pay attention to the world of tomorrow. They like honest wines. Indigenous yeasts. They like fruity and light wines. Vinification in whole bunch, or short macerations. They also and especially like straight wines. If necessary, they allow themselves to sulphide a little.
