The Tasting of Grand Curoulet

Grand Curoulet by Ratte estate is a natural wine playing on several sensations in the mouth. The attack is frank, lemony and mineral. Then as the wine passes through the mouth, it takes more place, the lemon turns into a pear, and the acidity gives way to a touch of smoothness. No doubt, it’s a Chardonnay from Jura !

Domaine Ratte

Ratte wines

Vignoble Domaine de la Ratte

Composed of 9 hectares of vines inherited from Françoise’s parents and acquisitions made since 1989, the Domain Ratte is spread over several localities in the Arbois sector (les Corvées, Grand Curoulet, Bésivette, etc.). Certified Demeter, Michel-Henri, Françoise and their son Quentin work the vineyard with herbal teas and plant decoctions. The grape is at the center of everything. And like all wines with great energy, the vinification is done in a natural way without unnecessary interventions.
